Happy Mardi Gras

William is walking!  He took his first steps a few weeks ago then gradually starting walking more and more every day, especially in the past week or so.  He'll crawl to something to pull up on, then takes off from there.  I love it! 

Patrick and I went to New Orleans Saturday for the Endymion Extravaganza.  It was my first night away from William, but we made it!  We had a great time.  The Grand Marshals were Anderson Cooper, Kelly Ripa, and Mark Consuelos.  Andy Cohen tagged along, too.  I was super excited to catch a cup from Kelly!

We are off Monday and Tuesday for Mardi Gras, so I'll be using that time to get ready for a very special first birthday party!
