Over the past few weeks, we've been making some home improvements. First, we had the windows replaced. I loved the old wooden windows, but some of them were in pretty sad shape, so we decided to go ahead and replace all of them. After the windows were finished, we decided to have the house repainted. I knew I wanted white trim with a light gray house and darker gray shutters with a yellow door. It took awhile to sell Patrick on the yellow door idea, but now he loves it too. It took awhile to decide on the actual colors. Who knew there were so many shades of gray? I was overwhelmed by the options and we had a deadline, so thankfully Patrick picked out the final colors. We are really happy with the way it turned out!
