13 Months

Here's a glimpse into William as he turns 13 months:

• Brown Bear, Brown Bear is his favorite book to read before nap/bedtime.  Most times, it seems to really calm him down and then he's ready for sleep.  He also loves the Bright Baby books.  I'm so glad he loves books and reading!
• His words are more, bubbles, book, uh oh, milk, the occasional mama and dada.  He signs more and eat and is constantly pointing. 
• He has moved from trying to eat Murtle's dog food to putting whatever he can find into her water bowl, including her food.
• He is very into putting things into things.  He moved all his goldfish snacks from his bowl to the top of water cup, then ate them; today he played outside moving dirt from one planter to another.
• He claps for animals, like our neighbors' cat and the dog next door.
• He likes to dip his food in ketchup (when appropriate), and does a really good job.  His teachers were very impressed!  He still won't eat bananas for me, but besides that he's not a terribly picky eater.  He loves chicken and his after dinner cookie.
